由數學栽入 AI 坑，現專注於 AI 技術的研發與落地。曾任職 Cyberon，亦曾以技術顧問接案；參與過不同類型任務的建模，如 STT、NLU、Traffic Detection、GraphNN、AI model Explainer 等等。
擅於發掘給定方法的有效前提條件、並把模型技術背後的基礎 know-how 翻譯成人話。期許自己能消除 AI Causality 中的人為數據偏見，讓落地的技術都能擁有其公正性。

現任職於Cinnamon AI，是理論與工程兼備的研究員。曾發表過機器學習頂會論文，也是深度學習開源專案的 contributor。 現在專注於將學界技術開發成產品以及深度學習模型的部署。

任職過制度完善的傳統公司、剛起步Martech新創Ainotam，帶領團隊從零到一打造產品。技能樹從後端、雲端、資料、AI一路點上來，擅長透過各種方法建立workflow pipeline。個人名言: Modern problem requires modern solution.

Dr. David T Chen has more than twenty years of industrial experiences working at Motorola, Nokia Siemens Networks, Bell Labs, Nokia, and currently Moxa (四零四科技). He is experienced in advanced technologies and the wireless industry with an insight to match emerging technologies to strategic opportunities. Dr. Chen is currently the Corporate Engineering Director at Moxa leading talented research teams working on 5G/6G, WiFi 6/6E, AI, Machine Learning, Data Science, OT Cybersecurity, Open Source Software (OSS) compliance, DevOps, Linux Super Long Term Support, Software Engineering Process, etc.
Dr. Chen has also been actively participating and contributing in various standardization bodies, such as IEEE 802.1 TSN, IEEE 802.3, IEEE 1588, CPRI, ORAN, 5G-ACIA, etc. He has been the invited speaker in many industrial forums such as 4G World, IWPC, ITSF, WSTS, ICC, ORAN, 5G C-RAN, and many more. He has numerous patents and papers in various journals, conferences, symposiums, and standard bodies. He has received many awards such as Motorola CEO Award, Nokia Outstanding Standard Contribution Award, IEEE 802.1/.3 Chair Award, etc. He received his bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from National Taiwan University and both his Master’s degree and PhD in Electrical Engineering from Northwestern University.
主題: Industrial 5G and its Applications in Vertical Markets
In this talk the difference between commercial 5G and industrial 5G will be identified and discussed. Furthermore, the focus will be on 5G vertical market applications, such as rail, power, oil & gas, and factory automation. We will also explore the key difference between 4G and 5G technology and why 5G is a better solution for industrial applications.
